Health and safety is the priority
LX Costa Rica has expanded health and safety procedures to reduce risk for our team, clients, vendors, and other community members. We’ve adopted the general best practices below and specific safety guidelines available in the LX Health & Safety Information Center.
Carefully consider the risks involved before agreeing to participate in-person either directly or indirectly in a live tour, meeting, showing or property visit. LX offers a wide range of options including virtual meetings, video tours and digital experiences for luxury real estate.
Start with these 6 initial guidelines. Then, explore the specific protocols for each party involved to decide how best to proceed for your needs.
General guidelines for health and safety in real estate
Follow the rules
Absolutely follow the direction of the Government of Costa Rica, local government in your area, and the Ministry of Health.
Avoid non-essential outings
Prefer virtual visits, digital tours, online consultations and online meetings whenever possible. Carefully consider the risks involved before agreeing to participate directly or indirectly in a live tour, meeting, or property visit.
Maintain social distancing
Keep a radius of 2m/6ft distance between you and any other people around.
Wash, clean and disinfect
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water aren’t available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Try not to touch unnecessary surfaces. Avoid contact with other people.
Protect yourself & others
Use face mask and gloves whenever possible if you’re outside of your home and in houses, offices, or other enclosed areas used by other people. Consider removing shoes or wearing footies if entering someone else’s home or property. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or cough or sneeze into your sleeve.
