Kitchens are very special areas in our homes. But, not everyone knows themselves and plenty of times customers will think they like something that they actually don’t. It is the designer’s responsibility to ensure that the customer is really comfortable with what they are buying and it is their job to go beyond what the customer thinks they are looking for.

This can be achieved through an interview, in which the client demonstrates their tastes and desires, For example, owning something that will remind them of their childhood home. This has to combine the needs of the house and the people who live in it.

Family day-to-day life is very important, revealing the dynamics and habits of the household including kitchens, such as where they usually eat, if they do so together or at different times and if they like cooking and what they normally prepare, etc.
